Christmas caroling & party

All GodTeens are welcome to join us for our
Christmas Caroling & Party
Sunday, December 16th
Bring your smiles, Christmas joy, & maybe even a Santa hat!
Fabulous singing voice not required.  ;)
We will leave on the bus from St. John's at 3:30 to arrive at the Pink Sisters by 4:00.  If you are coming from the concert or another obligation & need to just meet us there, that would be fine.  We will sing for the sisters, enjoy some time with them, & then head back to St. John's around 5:00 for our own Christmas party.

If you are interested in playing piano, guitar, or another instrument with a group to help accompany our singing, we would really appreciate it!  Please tell your GodParents ASAP if you would be able to help in this way.

Christmas Caroling

Thank you to everyone for your enthusiastic Christmas caroling! The priests & sisters really enjoyed it.
Thank you to the Sophomores for your spiritual bouquet for them as well!
We hope you enjoyed the visit to the Pink Sisters. Remember that you are welcome to visit their Perpetual Adoration chapel again any time their doors are open! They pray for us all hours of the night, too. Thanks to all who helped set up , clean up, or brought food & goodies to share for the party!

Have a Blessed Advent & Merry Christmas! See you again on January 11th!

Stay tuned for more info & registration forms about our upcoming ski trip on Monday, January 16th to Mount Crescent. (There's no school that day.) Hope you can join us!

Spreading Cheer

It's that time of year again: time to spread a little holiday cheer! All GodTeens are welcome to join us for Christmas caroling & fun on
Sunday, December 11th.
We'll meet in front of the Church (or in the vestibule if it's snowy)
at 2:30 p.m. to load up on the bus. If you'd like to bring anything to add to the celebration... Santa hats, jingle bells, simple gifts or cards for the sisters or priests... please, do! This is the perfect time to wear your new GodTeen shirt, too. Your musical talent is welcome & encouraged, so please bring your own musical instrument (there should be a piano there ;] ) & any special sheet music if you'd like to play. We will travel to Bonachum House to visit the retired priests, sing them some songs, & enjoy their tasty goodies. Then we will head over to the Pink Sisters & do the same. Probably around 5:00, we will return to the St. John's Social Hall for Valentino's pizza, drinks, & our own Christmas fun. Please, bring a side or dessert as a tasty addition to our meal. If you have other obligations early afternoon but our able to just join us for pizza at the Social Hall around 5:00, we'd still love to have you! Please, just let your GodParents know ASAP so that we can still order enough pizza for you, too. This will wrap up GodTeens for the semester. We hope that you can join us!

Caroling

ALL GODTEENS
are invited to join us for an Advent party on
Sunday, December 12th
Meet in St. John's Social Hall at 1:30 p.m. to carpool by 1:45 p.m. to Bonacum House (3301 Sheridan Blvd) & then to the Pink Sisters (1040 S. Cotner), where we will visit & then sing some Christmas carols to the retired priests & holy sisters. They are so excited to have us come! Take this rare opportunity to meet a Pink Sister face to face & thank our retired priests for all they have done for us. If you'd like to bring an instrument to help accompany us, please do! You can also wear or bring along any Santa hats, reindeer horns, jingle bells, or anything else that you think might help make us merry. ;) Any parents who would like to drive a vanload of GodTeens would be much appreciated.
After caroling we'll head back to St. John's to enjoy cookies & cocoa & have some more fun. We'll wrap up the party around 4:30.
Hope to see you there!
